(She/ her)
About Me
Jacquie is a Resident in Counseling with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from William & Mary, where she specialized in Military and Veteran care.
During her time as a therapist, she has worked with individuals across the lifespan with varying backgrounds and life stories. Jacquie's therapeutic approach is rooted in Polyvagal and Attachment theories, utilizing techniques such as EMDR, parts work, somatic practices, and clinical hypnosis.
Jacquie's down-to-earth nature and relatability create a warm, gentle environment where you can freely explore your experiences for continued self-awareness and transformation. The basis of your time together will be spent understanding that the therapeutic relationship is often a corrective one. This means focusing on building deep trust and collaborating on ways to challenge you to meet your goals. Whether you're managing anxiety and depression, navigating the effects of complex trauma, or developing tools to grow through life's challenges, she is here to support you every step of the way.
Jacquie is a military spouse, which means she frequently moves around. Currently, she and her partner live in Slovakia with their sweet kitties. As a lifelong learner, Jacquie constantly indulges her curiosity, whether that's expanding her repertoire of hobbies or pursuing further education.
Out in the world, you'll often find her curled up with a fantasy novel and her cats, adventuring with her partner, or knitting at her favorite coffee shop.
